JUNIOR COACHES REQUIRED FOR SEASON 2010
We would like hear from all persons who are interested in being a coach, manager or a volunteer in 2010. You don't need to have experience in rugby, we want committed persons who want to have fun and be part of a rugby community. Our club is committed to invest in its coaching and administrative skill base. Thus we will pay for coaching courses (Smart Rugby to Level 3), manager's courses and first aid training etc. We want to let our parents know who will be there in 2010 by our presentation night. All applications close on 27/11/2009 and can be emailed to Tom Pinder. tom.pinder@health.wa.gov.au The selection committee will announce the coaching team by end November 2009. Click here to view the Application form.

Running the club for our kids to have the opportunity to play this wonderful game doesn’t happen by magic – the more helpers we have, the easier it is for everyone! WESTS = A WONDERFUL COMMUNITY!
Thanks to Wests players and families, and both the Senior and Junior club, a substantial sum was donated to help support Levi Saunders and his family during his long road to recovery. A rugby ball signed by Levi's coaches and teammates over the last four years and an action photo of Levi playing rugby for Wests have been a joy for him, his loved ones and hospital staff at PMH. Levi is showing true fighting spirit and we wish him all the best. This is a great demonstration of the club spirit and goodwill within the Wests community - one of the things we love about our club.

PARENT VOLUNTEERS REQUIRED
Junior Secretary – be the go-between Rugby WA and committee/parents/players. Be the centre point to receive information and pass it out. Put out the weekly newsletter. Registration Day – coordinate the registration day for Wests in February. Assist the registrar and treasurer on the day and keep in contact with Rugby WA. Merchandise – coordinate our merchandise in stock and reorder. A person with a love of shopping and great ideas is all that is needed. Presentation Day – coordinate and book our yearly presentation day. You will be required to order trophies, team photographs, order food/drink and present a special end of year memory. We are very happy for parents to start off with baby steps. All I can say is that being part of the rugby club is very rewarding, and it is very special to help not just your own son but other boys who are learning the great sport of rugby.

MATCH REPORTS
It would be greatly appreciated if the managers of all teams could please send a match report from their games - please send email to tania.paul@legalaid.wa.gov.au and it can be placed in our weekly newsletter.
