ROUND 15 RESULTS Round 15 saw Wests take on University at Rosalie. Colts started the day playing a combined U.W.A. and Curtin Colts team known as Universities. After a fairly even opening 15 minutes Wests scored and went into half time 7-0 up. The second half was a flowing game and Wests went on to score 2 more tries and with good defence ran out winners to the score of 22 points to nil, unfortunately missing the bonus point as Keith Bradley on his way to scoring the fourth try just stepped into touch. This result moves them into a clear third place. 4ths were meant to follow on after 3rds, however University forfeited the game so a 25 -0 win to Wests. 3rds play Curtin Uni. up on field 2 and after an even first half lead 10 -7 at half time. The second half was all Wests with the side scoring 4 more tries and securing a bonus point and winning 32 points to 7. 2nds played Uni. who had a few 4th Grade players in their team as they were struggling for numbers. In a very one sided contest 2nds went on to win 85 points to nil, which will certainly help their percentage. 1sts followed on and after leading 61 points to nil at half time ran out winners by 106 points to 17. A very one sided game with the Uni. Club pretty much in dissaray, with a lack of playing numbers and quality. 1sts big test is next week out at Kalamunda.
