Another weekend of mixed results for the Club, with Colts kicking off proceedings against Wanneroo and coming out on top 15-0. A gutsy effort after the previous weekend and will build up confidence. 4th Grade played Wanneroo and scored in the first minute under the posts, "Kathy" missed the conversion and they ended up going down 22-5. 3rds played top of the ladder Joondalup and in a scrappy game went down 37-15. There needs to be more of a committment from the 3rd Graders to turn up to training as they have the personnel to be capable of defeating any team in this grade. 2nds played Wanneroo and capably led by their Captain Regan Harray won 25-5. Good games from Pugs cousin who's just arrived, Ephraim Stephens and also Josh Vodo. 1sts also played Wanneroo and in another game that had moments of brilliance and moments of scrappiness they won 33-21 securing a bonus point, leaving us 5th on the ladder and playing the only unbeaten team left in 1st Grade next week, Palmyra, so the Club needs a big effort for this one. Good to see Keith Bradley ( Colts ) play a full game at half back for 1sts, whilst Cooper had his first run since arriving from N.S.W. and scored a try.
