Another mixed round of results for the Club, starting with Colts who were well in the game until 15 minutes from the end going down to Palmyra by 23-8. Keep at it guys, you have the capabilities to beat most teams. 4th Grade played Southern Lions, this being the Lions top team and lost by 12 points to 5. Keep at it guys, you are very close with 2 narrow losses.

3rd Grade played Palmyra and led most of the game, totally dominant in the fowards, however they bombed one certain try and lost in the final minutes by 19 points to 15. Keep at it guys, from what I've seen you have got the personnel to beat any team in this grade, it just a matter of getting to training and working on combinations, remember you did this same thing last season and went through the second round undefeated and made the four and I'm sure you can do it again.

2nd Grade scored a mighty win against Palmyra 46 points to 5. An outstanding team effort, led from the front as usual by their Captain Regan Harray, whilst others to shine were Pugs, Pat Byron, Craig Barrett, whilst Jarrod McGreevey toiled all day, and both Plimms and Marshall Wells came off the bench to both put in top performances.

1sts played Palmyra and after going out to a 10 point lead let Paly back into the game with some poor handling and weak tackling. Kiti Fuluna tried hard all day, however we didn't take points when they were on offer and ended up going down by 20 points to 17. We are now 2 from 2, sitting in 5th spot on the ladder and the next 2 games are must wins to enable us to keep in the hunt for a finals spot. There is heaps of talent in the team, it is just a matter of it firing on the day, so good luck for this weeks game at Rockingham.
